Jodi Cheung is an artist based in Singapore and Los Angeles. Her interests lie in machines: machine/artist rituals and performances, machine/artist functionality and dysfunctionality, machine/artist failure and machine fetishisation. She is also interested in the futility and absurdity of our pursuits in life. She makes interactive installations, kinetic sculptures and participatory playable experiences.
A current MFA student in Design Media Arts at UCLA, she graduated with a BFA (Sculpture and Spatial Practice) from VCA, The University of Melbourne. She also holds a diploma in Fine Arts from Lasalle College of the Arts, Singapore, where she was trained as a sculptor.
