At the Sci|Art NanoLab, a strong focus is placed on student participation and learning in action. Through collaboration with the CNSI Outreach Program, Center for Environmental Impacts of Nanotechnology (CEIN), other campus programs as well as external entities, a number of participatory workshops have been specifically designed including: magnetic fluids, photolithography, solar cells, electronic prototyping, acoustics, biotoxicity, bioluminescence, self-assembly, molecular gastronomy, renewable energy and more. The Sci|Art Team also provides mini-courses on web design, video composition/editing, public speaking and presentation.
